Healed in Paradise

Henry was escorted by angels into our glorious Savior's presence on Thursday night at 9:30pm. Myself, Jeremy and the kids were able to spend a few hours at his side earlier that evening. We noticed even then that his breathing was labored and he was being called home. Margo called later that evening to say that he was barely breathing. By the time that we got to the hospital, only his diseased body remained. His spirit had already ascended into heaven.

What can one say during a time such as this? We knew that Henry was just waiting for our Lord to heal and restore him, but grieving is what's left for those he's left behind.  We've suffered a great loss here, but know a victory has occurred in the heavenly realm.

Psalm 116:7-9  "Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the Lord has been good to you. For you, O Lord, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living."

We take comfort and rejoice that Henry was a man of God and is no longer suffering. We appreciate all the outpour of prayers and support that we've received over the past 15 months. I know that is what has given us strength and peace. We love you all.
