This Fourth of July we went out to our family's lake house in Burnet. We started out the weekend in classic style of driving into Marble Falls and having Texas-made breakfast at the Bluebonnet Cafe. It was to die for!!!
We fed the deer that are so accustomed to people that they literally come and eat right out of your hands.
We had nice, relaxed mornings on the porch swing with a cup of coffee.
We played in the water and were grateful that the water level had risen so it wasn't as much of a hike to the shore! Even though some of us needed a hand to get back to the house!
We had glow sticks courtesy of Yaya and fireworks courtesy of HB! It was awesome to see the shows going on all around the lake.
In our down time, Jack entertained us with his Hot Wheels.
And Ryleigh even made her initial expedition in the boat! She didn't love it by any means, more just tolerated it.
Overall, it was a fantastic weekend with our family!
Looks like the perfect weekend! I'm so glad you guys have fun - we still need to go with you sometime! BTW - the kids are adorable, I can't wait to see them this weekend.
