I am SO very excited and proud to be an aunt. My little nephew is the cutest thing (other than my own kids of course). It is such a fun role...one which will only become more fun as he grows. James and Henry are 1 day shy of having each other's half birthdays. How fun is that?!
We went to see this little fella (my kids' first time to meet their cousin) over our spring break this week. Ryleigh was enthralled, as she is with every baby. She stroked his head like a pro and helped hold in his paci.
I have to say that I was just as enamored! It brings back all those feelings of my first little baby, and the HUGE wave of love that takes over your heart. Melissa, you are a FANTASTIC mom already, with 2 great weeks under your belt. These times are the hardest, but it gets easier. You amaze me with your strength through your delivery and recovery. You make me smile with your looks of affection towards your son. You and Kevin are so blessed, and so is James to have you two!
