About four or five years ago, we began the tradition of going to the Lake House for Easter weekend. It's always a great time for the family to get together, enjoy each other's company, and enjoy walks around the lake or feeding the local deer.
This was our first year to do an "official" Easter egg hunt with Jack. He helped dye the eggs the night before, then after he went to sleep we stuffed plastic ones with candy. It felt as exciting as playing Santa.
Needless to say, it took the opening of one egg, the realization that chocolate was inside, and the boy was hooked! He consumed more chocolate that day than his entire life.

Lastly, here's an artistic picture of Jack on the beach and then one of me and my girl chillin in the house! I LOVE my kids and the long weekends I get to be with them!
